    @pmossberg

    Well …. I’ve reached the end of an era that began in 1981 when three huge Classic Roadsters, Ltd. boxes arrived from Fargo North Dakota. After finally finding a suitable donor Beetle, my build took up nine months of 1982, and I drove her for the first time in December that year. It snowed during the first drive!

    The Duchess was titled and registered for the first time in the spring of 1983.

    Wednesday afternoon a car transporter arrived to pick up my little car and bring her to a member here @philipcavanaugh

    I am going to miss her. But it’s been a terrific ride for  35 years.

    Phil promised me visitation rights. I look forward to that.
