Has anyone installed a faux filler cap on the faux gas tank covering the engine? Where did you get it? Which side did you mount it on?

I think that would look really cool !!!

Mike. I haven’t installed mine as yet but have the spot for it drilled. Just need to mount it after I get the engine cover installed. I got mine at CB Performance. Nice piece.

    Mike,

It goes on the driver’s side of the tank.

    Ed has one (edsnova).

I thought I would give u my 2 cents . I have a cap on mine that came of a boat. Shortly after I bought my car I lost the cap . My first thought was where will I find a cap that looks good . I stopped at a local boat sales place and found one It was used . I guess they find them in the water at there boat launch . The best part is you remove it with a bottle opener

BAT in Florida. 941-355-0005. This is where both Ed’s and my cap came from.

Here’s what it looks like on the original. Mine is twisted 90 degrees cuz that’s the only way it’ll fit. But most of you-all have the tank girth necessary to mount yours longitudinally, as original.

Found a jag cover on eBay for $19.95 and snatched it quickly. That’s all I need some I’ll bond it to the cover. Thanks for the ideas, guys.
