Just bought a never assembled Chevette MG kit. Plan is to use a left over 350 chev and a 200r4 trans. Not crazy about the chevette suspention the pinto more normall hot rod. Question is are the frames the same? If i remove coil spring pockets is rear same kick up? If I remove front mounts are frame horns same? Or is Chevette suspention OK? I think Front spindel same as Fearo so biger brakes may still be around? Tourqe tube rear is all the rage in Tour cars.

Maybe frame side detail or a aready build site recomdation?

I went through something very similar with a Chevette based kit that I turned into a Mustang II V-6 based car. Suggest you read my entire build thread. It’s under My Projects, Building Alfred.
    Good luck.

Yep very nice job. Love the stance and the roll bar.

From what I learned during my donor car search, the Fiero and the Chevette shared from suspension parts, but the Fiero was wider. I sincerely doubt that the Chevette rear can stand up to a Chevy 350.
