Hagerty’s online newsletter has an article about a one-of-a-kind “Woody” wagon built on a VW chassis by a retiree in Florida. It was passed along to his daughter when he died, and his son-in-law wrote a nice piece on it. Worth a look:  http://www.hagerty.com/yourstories/2014/02/14/1972-Volkswagon-1929-Ford-Woody-Wagon-quotWANNA-BEquot-20140214090811. (I really like the wheels, by the way, and can’t help wondering how they’d look on one of our TDrs.)

WOW!, what a great story, and a wonderful way to honor your Father in Law. My parents had an orginal “Woody Station Wagon” and my dad made hammocks in the back for us kids to sleep in on the long trip drives that we took from Buffalo to Georgina Bay, Canada. Such great memories.

    Be safe driving that “Woody”!
