Hi guys sorry for the delay. The car has been in the shop and the rear axil has been moved forward, prop shaft shortened and the wheels are in the center of the fender arch and it looks good. The springs are the half springs as they should be. Now a new location hole and some adjustments, all done. I will try and post some pics.Gordon

John, please post a photo of your speedometer?
This does look like a nice setup.Playing with the graphics, if I were doing one now I’d go with the Century font, standard ticking, and Day – Silver dial // black font Night – Dial Blue GlowEither way, beats the heck out of my old VW speedo with a white sticker on it, looks-wise.But I still got t… -

I put a GPS speedometer in my new dash. Got it from Speedhut. Just needs to be wired in and the antenna has a magnet that attaches nicely to the steering column. Fiberglass does not hinder the signal. Since I’ve only driven the car a couple of miles from one shop to another, about all I can say so far is that the speedometer seems to work wel…[Read more]

AutoMeter.com has a speedo that works on GPS…no cables or a chassis with no speed sensor.I’ve used it on a couple of custom movie cars that I didn’t want to bother hooking up or creating a speedo system.http://www.autometer.com/universal-gps-speedometer-interface-module.htmlWill work with most all their speedos. even the antique looking…[Read more]

Just making sure Joe!You know, at the end of the day, the local inspection facility staff will have no idea what a CMC VIN plate is “supposed to look like.” Sounds to me like you can mock up what ever you want!
