I have just purchased a MG TD replica that was made by Rich Industries South Africa and wondered if anyone new more about the company and how many they made. I am in the UK.
It is a very good likeness and uses Ford Cortina 1.6 litre engine and running gear. It came with a brochure that names the importer in to the UK as ‘Richard De Beer Motor Sales UK Ltd.’ The brochure shows a car on the front cover which is the actual car I own! I am interested to know of any more in the UK or the rest of the world.
Any information however little would be greatly appreciated.

I also own one built by Rich car industries in ~Port Elizabeth South Africa.
The company built many different kit cars and not only the MGTD.
My car is driven by 2,0l cortina motor mated to sapphire 5 speed box.
Mine was first registerd in1985 and I{ am the third owner.
