I didn’t think about this whole badge thing till I was reading about badge bars. But is it true “He who dies with the most badges on his bar wins” or are they just frivolous tools used to proclaim that I was there. Frankly I’m of the competitive nature and would like to believe that they are a method to establish a place of prominence in this British cast system in which we live. Thusly, the newbies would only be allowed to have one, Lovers two or three, Addicts if their bars were big enough could display up to five, Power could claim seven or eight in thier inventory, and finally Lovers could cover thier whole damn grill. My quest comes at this point with the aquisition of a TDReplica badge my bar is full. (I still owe pinkmg a bucket of maple syrup) How do you put these things on the grill. I can’t get to the back of it. The thing is bolted in place. So the most I can show is three. I’m full no need for more. Maybe I could bend some conduit and bolt it to the trailer that I want and start to fill that. Or I could buy that 20 foot trailer that Jascochran was talking of and make it my lifes mission to aquire more badges that anyone and start a mobile museum. Oh once again I’m so confused. All I need to know is how do you get to the back of the grill.

Not sure what you mean by “the back of the grill,” Rich. Do you mean behind the slats, or behind behind the slats, which would be inside the “trunk” of the VW kits and anyway under the bonnet?

Badges Are Coming Back

I found a new supplier of Badges and they will make me some Badges on

Order as Needed..And I won some bucks on the Lottery and there seems to

be a few TD owners that still want a Badge. So I put forth a small order. So

now who is ready to dress the front up and proclaim to be a member of this

club. Will be a few weeks till I receive the New Badges but I’m taking orders

again.. I have one order I’m holding so far.I had several others but I had sent

there money back to them ..not knowing of this new Manf.
