I cut a an access hole about 1″ in diameter and fabricated a cover plate from left over fiberglass sheet to cover.  Really was very simple.  

Made it home about 7:30.  No incidents!  Drove through rain until Ohio state line.

I live in Illinois and built a Fiberfab MiGi on a 1974 VW donor car.  After the build it was inspected by the Sectary of State and was issued an Assigned Identification Number.  It is titled as a 1974 VW.

I converted the front’s to disk about 25 years ago because all of the components needed replacement (shoes, drums, etc).  I have been very happy with results.  About 2 years ago I converted the back to disk for the same reason.  Happy with results but a lot more work the fronts.  Got kit that had emergency brake.

Mine also came that way.

After the car was completed it was required to be inspected by the Sectary of State.  Once it passed inspection, a SOS number was issued.  Both are shown on the title.  I mounted both to front of firewall.

Had same problem with grease fittings, just remove when installing tow bar, replace when tow bar removed.

The blue bag is windshield washer fluid.  I wound up with an electric fuel pump because the mechanical one died about 100 miles from home and all the local auto store had in stock was an electric one.

I attached the hood holding cable to one of the bolts that goes through the hood to secure the chrome strip the runs down the center.

There are holes in the bulkhead in front of the engine, about an 1″ gap between the bottom of the engine cover and the rear deck plus the holes in the spare tire rim.

Agree it appears to be a Fiberfab
