Now the front keeps coming out of the groove while driving. I’m assuming that something needs adjusted (tightened?) but have tried a few things and nothing works. Any ideas?

The clutch cable and accelerator cable are now brand new and it cost me almost $300. Worth it, though, because now I can start putting all the new parts on it that I have been ordering since it went in for repairs.

At $130/hr it won’t be cheap, but worth it. Besides, I’ll use the down  time to get some other issues resolved myself. (I’ve been a VDub guy since the ’70s and can do the motor work)

Looking under the pan, I don’t see how to get to it. I plan on having it towed and fixed, but will the average shop be able to fix it?
