jamesb posted an update 1953 vw miggi suspension rebuild yes hello to all, i got a wild hair and decided to rebuild the suspension every thing. wheels, stock spindles for 2” narrow beam2” 4disc brakes, new tie rods and ball joints (installed at auto shop) torsion bar for narrow beam.
my steering was stiff before now i can hardly turn the steering wheel when the front end is placed in the ground. why does anyone have experience with rebuilding the front end? it’s scary stuff.
i thought i have done a complete good job the steering wheel tells me something different!
