Now looking like a late run up to Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Just found out today i have a training thing at work until 3 p.m. Four hours’ drive & we probably won’t get underway much before five. Which means rush hour, which means another hour on the road. Thinking 10 p.m. Dang.

The bumper and fenders move together on the suspension. What you want ideally is a bumper that is level and both fenders even, in relation to it. Neither issue is related to ride height.

Don’t think anyone has attempted. Just to know: the MG hub is a small spline shaft, certainly on some oddball British standard. The way to adapt it, I think, would be a hog-out and weld (or epoxy)-in method using whatever spline pipe you salvaged out of an original Chevette steering wheel.
