Thay come with a cone type plastic &#8220;glass&#8221; in them so I carefully pryed them open and put flat plastic in them. I have not installed them yet but it looks pretty staight-forward. they have high beam and turn signal indicators in them</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I converted my 1970 vw 1600sp to doghouse cooling. worked very well! reduced the engine temps to well under 160 even on hot days. before I was running upwards of 225 with my oil light nice and bright at idle!    The donor engine I use happened to be a 1975 fuel injected rig so I got the &#8220;vortex ring&#8221; as well! I don&#8217;t know how much effect IT has.  </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some of the beetle guys have managed to fit the coolant pipes up through the tunnel. sounds like it&#8217;s quite a job but it sure would be the neatest!  My car has quite good ground clearance so I don&#8217;t think 1.5&#8243; shd 40 pipe would be much of a problem down there! It&#8217;s not like we are offroading like a buggy!   </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I would recommend the sva dist with the 30 pict carb as well. even though mine runs well with a dist from a fuel injected car, it ran just as well with the svs, and poorer with the 009 . The only place I&#8217;d run an 009 is with dual carbs when you have no venturi vacuum signal.Ed </p>

A very nice improvement in performance a drivability, possibly some loss of fuel economy but I&#8217;m still getting better than 25 us MPG. Some people reduce the power jet to 50- 55 but I left mine alone, I&#8217;m not into the power jet very often! ( I drive my car fairly easy)</p>
