<p>My MG&#8217;s top was getting torn apart by the wind where I live, and parking in the Texas sun on my asphalt apartment parking lot was not helping my paint as well. This was a fun car to own, excited for a new project though.</p>

<p>I have spot for it in the steering column, but can&#8217;t find or figure out what should go inside the column. I know there ought to be some V-Dub fans out there who could instantly point me in the right direction.</p>

<p>Would that get rid of the scratch marks and discoloration? Would it not damage the plate?</p>
<p>If I were to do this, should I hand sand it? What grit would you suggest starting and finishing with?</p>

I initially expected that 60 hsp was going to feel really slow  compared to other cars I have driven, but now that I have been able to take the car out for a spin, I can say that my TDR really moves. </p>
<p>I am pleasantly surprised by how fast the car felt.</p>

On my car, the bar in front of the grill is too far forward to put them on the body, so I was thinking the would have to be mounted to the bar itself. Not sure how I will do that, but maybe a trip to Home Depot or some advice will give me some ideas.</p>
