Transportation PSA

I just had a very poor experience with the company Amerifreight Auto Logistics Corp (M.C# 1596630). I was promised a $200 payment to transport my car from Abilene to Conroe (about a 6hr drive) on April 6. After waiting around the drop off location all day, they call me at night saying no one is picking up my car anymore and that I will need to reschedule. I reschedule for the following weekend and around mid day, they call me and say no one is coming to pick up my car today, unless I pay $500 total. It felt like a bait and switch with the transportation rate and it was infuriating. I would advise against using this company: they are rude over the phone scammers who want to break your bank and couldn’t give a rat’s behind about your order.
