									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Like George said, 40 is not an interstate.  It is part of the original &#8220;Crossroads of America Highways&#8221; where old rt 40 and old 25 met in Vandalia Oh.   I70 has replaced 40 E/W and I75 has replaced 25 N/S.   Both 40 and 25 are still used, but more for the scenic routes.   Max speed in places about 55 but mostly 35 especially thru all the small cities.   </p>
