She would backfire after building up some compression.  If I accelerated in 2nd gear hard and then let up on the accelerator it backfired real loud like a gunshot. He works only on Air cooled engines.  He dropped the engine and replaced all of the seals. Oil was leaking mostly from the oil cooler, flywheel, and push rods. The engine is completely dry and no longer leaking oil.</p>

I just had major work done on my engine last month including a carb rebuild. Now I&#8217;m averaging 24 &#8211; 27 mpg. Go figger.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I bought my fog lights, they were 100 watt bulbs. I had to add a relay into the circuit because the fuse in that circuit got so hot I would instantly get burned when I touched it. Even so, I changed the bulbs to 50 watt. The fuse no longer gets hot.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I agree with Larry. I replaced both fender mirrors with flat. They are totally useless. I wish I had gone with convex on both fenders. I did the same with peep mirrors on both sides. Should have used convex on passenger side. The driver side peep works great. I also installed a dash mirror, which I use mostly.</p>

Did Berkshires last year to No. Adams on the Mohauk Trail, another nice ride. Hoping to continue riding into November like last year.</p>

As long as I kept the engine revved up it would run okay, but as soon as I took my foot off the accelerator it stalled. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ed. Was the lead that fell off coming off the item shown in the picture I added. I thought it was an electric choke but turns out to be an Idle Cut-off Valve. The wire came off on mine and caused the engine to run rough and stalled when I let up on the accelerator. I had to keep the engine revved up as I drove to get back home.
