Timing, as the distributor vacuum and mechanical advance, and air fuel ratio, if it&#8217;s lean, and exhaust restrictions. Anyway the radiator is great. An oil cooler will also help. I&#8217;m with Ed, it&#8217;s all about good fresh tires, what a better ride and braking with quality tires. We keep our rear drum brakes adjusted up (with vw rear engine) and no braking issues. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Heymoe, The most neglected circuit on a fiberglass bodied car, be it a vintage corvette or a VW powered  kit car is the voltage regulator ground wire. I recommend a 10ga. black wire with eyelets, from the block to the voltage regulator mounting bolt. Start there, and clean all your charging circuit wire connections.</p>

Believe it or not you have 3 TD members just south of you in the Stafford area - Rick - building his car now (just spent an hour with him last weekend checking out his cool rides and garage), Dean - just south of me with a running and driving example and myself with a car I restored about 12 years ago. Looks like we have a club and did not know it.
