									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The gas tank is built in under the deck in the front compartment. Filler neck is the radiator cap. Be careful when filling as auto shut off doesn&#8217;t always work and you&#8217;ll spill gas all over your grill and front end if you&#8217;re not careful.<br />
Post some pics when you get the car. There is one other on this site besides me with Allison&#8217;s.<br />

Sure would like to find a set for a reasonable price.</p>

It&#8217;s in the roofing section. I lined my entire chassis and the rear package tray section on the body on my 65 Beetle with it and it makes a huge difference. My Allison has side curtins like the early model Jeep YJ&#8217;s. The side curtin frame slips into the door itself and opens and closes with the door. The front axle consists of an upper and lower tube. Inside the tube is a series of flat torsion leaves that go from one end of the beam to the other and go into the trailing arms. <p>Ed, there is a flap sewn above the door that is supposed to slip over the side curtin top to prevent water from sliding off the roof and into the window. You pay a little more but the quality for what you get is worth the extra in my opinion. Most replacement parts you see these days come from either Brazil or China.<br />

In looking at the area under the deck lid I really don&#8217;t have room for dual carbs unless they were on very short manifolds. Even then they might not fit.
