I cut it to fit the width of the channel, polished the strip on my buffer, and then used rivets to fasten the forward lip of the top to the strip. Be sure to leave enough room to get the bar into channel when you attach the top lip.

Does anyone know of a company who will do this, preferably with DOT engraving?

The chip was hidden by the frame, but while working on the top installation, I saw a large diagonal crack in the glass running all the way from top to bottom. Clearly I will need a new windshield before attempting to get the new project titled, but the question is WHERE? Is the Fiberfab windshield directly interchangeable with a genuine TD windshield, and whether it is or isn\'t, where can I find either one? A windshield from a parted out project would be ideal if anyone has one for sale. Any and all help will be much appreciated.         That’s what I’ve done, although the drawings in the manual make the straps appear to be not just looped around but looped and closed around both bows. This cannot be done without adding an extra buckle to each strap, so I thought it best to ask for help before proceeding.
