Registration was pretty simple with bill of sale. Moneypenny is registered as a 1971VW-Other. Still wish I had a title for it though because without it Moneypenny is destined to live forever in Georgia. Visors and sunglasses worked about the same except the aviator sunglasses give me more definition. So going to stick with sunglasses. Can&#8217;t say about fog because it very seldom gets foggy out in my area of Georgia.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Before you take it to Midwest, check the headlight (high beam) relay. I believe the headlight power goes through the hi beam relay  either before the headlights or before the switch. If that is not working or properly connected, neither headlight will work.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Check the carb and distributor types. If you have a mechanical distributor and a Solex 34PICT3 well they don&#8217;t work well together. A 34PICT3 likes a dual vacuum advance distributor. Just another thing to check. And if you haven&#8217;t done it yet, check the setting of the choke. They are adjustable.</p>

<p>Ed. No pressure valve that I&#8217;m aware of but I&#8217;ll check again tomorrow. There may be one internal to the master cylinder. Let you know tomorrow.</p>
<p>Roy. I&#8217;ve removed and installed the reservoir cap numerous times. Each time I&#8217;ve noticed the vent in the cap but have never checked it. I&#8217;ll check it tomorrow.</p>

I may take my new brake master cylinder and mount it with reservoir in the shed, service the reservoir and let it sit in the shed for a month and see if this one leaks. If it leaks I&#8217;ll have to head to a salvage yard and get a master cylinder from a 71 beetle. This is the second time I&#8217;ve replaced the fittings and seals. I&#8217;m thinking of installing threaded input fittings on my other new master cylinder. Getting tired of servicing the break system every 4 months.</p>

I have change these fittings and they still leak around the rubber stopper portion of the fittings. I would like to tap these two bosses so I can screw in brass fittings and connect the hoses. If the tonneau cover lays over the whole shebang, then my 34 year old original tonneau doesn&#8217;t fit. I can barely reach the dash WITHOUT the top installed.</p>

Went to do fit the interior side carpet but can&#8217;t because when I took the tarps off, there was 1/4 inch water in the floor boards. The tarps have no holes in them and cover the entire car. Can&#8217;t figure where the water is coming in from. Any ideas greatly appreciated.</p>

It uses two VW valve covers; one cut into the dash with the stereo installed into it and the other valve cover hinged to be the stereo cover. Nicely done. Oh. TDr is a Duchess and has 1 bid for 2500 with a reserve 0f 4500.</p>

Got the little bit of water out of the floor pans and adjusted the drivers door catch so the door closes to the second catch. Hinge installed on the passenger door and then I stopped for the day.
