I owned several back in the 70s and 80s and I found them to be very reliable. <div>About 20 years ago I rebuild a Daytona Migi that sounds similar to the one you found.  Mine had the rear fenders molded into the body tub and the fiberglass grill.  I changed to MGB seats, installed a wooden dash, and created a slight &#8220;crown&#8221; in the windshield glass just like the original.  I will try to attach pictures of my Mi&hellip;</div>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many thanks for the warm welcome.  I can see this forum is a great place to discuss ideas.  After getting the kit home and spending the day just inspecting the firewall, bottom moldings, and taking some measurements, I can see the problems of converting it to a front engined setup.  It really is set up for installing on a VW pan.  </p>
