    Good Afternoon All

    I am the third owner of my VW MG-TD. The second owner got it from the builder, but never asked any important questions, such as “who produced this kit ?”. Is there any place on the body shells where the manufacturer put some code numbers or something? I have tried comparing it to othe rmodels, but one item in particular, has me confused. The pedels have not been moved from their original spot on the VW frame. they are attached a second set of pedals by long steel shafts (all three..clutch, brake, and gas pedal).Is this just a PO thing, or does it sound familar to anyone? I will take some pictures tomorrow.

     Don, The pedal arrangement you refer to is like a FiberFab replica I saw a few years ago. Based on that info I would guess that your car is a FiberFab or Classic Motor Carriage . Other kits may have used this set up but I do not know of any others for sure. When you post some pictures we can probably tell for sure.  Hope this helps.

    Thanks larry.. I went out this afternoon to take some pictures, but I found I needed to recharge my battery…hope to get some pictures later tonight.
