September 28, 2012 at 9:37 pm #251977Hello Andy .I know you will enjoy this TD thing .
I have A chevette powered TD that I changed up to a 2 barrol and got a lot better power . if you have a single barrol that needs replacement you may want to upgrade to a 2bbl. . enjoy and remember 1/2 the fun is woking on them
October 12, 2012 at 9:19 pm #251978I have a one barrel carb and would like to upgrade. Is it a bolt on or do I need a new manifold?
October 13, 2012 at 12:43 am #251979DickH you might want to post your question on the chevette forum also ,

October 13, 2012 at 10:42 am #251980DickH, I ‘m assuming you are referring to upgrading to a progressive two barrel carb since some Chevettes used them. It would require changing the intake manifold since the one barrel manifold carb mounting surfaces would not match up with the larger two barrel carb. I do not know of any one barrel carbs for upgrade purposes but I’m no expert on the subject. Rick Drake , on the Chevette forum , can point you in the right direction . ray10’s link above will get you in touch with him.
