"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackWay Cool! A good sign of things to come. It is fitting and nice that the “real” TDs are allowing us to sit on the same side of the field as they, – even if we are in the nose bleed section. Having owned a real T for about 16 years, I am unabashedly proud to now own a replica and would look any would be elitist TD purist in the eye and challenge him to any “which is better” contest of his choosing. The best test of all is that it just makes me feel good to drive my TDr and be confident of making it home, unassisted, not to mention that all my non-Lucas lights still work.
Nary any snittiness from the BCW dude. I asked him to post our badge quite a while ago (making very clear that we’re a replica club) and he did straight away, but the link did not work.
I emailed him about that & he finally got ’round to fixing the link, with apologies for the delay.
I always try to drive that week anyway, and of course my car always has a badge on it prominently reading BCW…
