This BCW model needs a new clutch (parts a mere $65!) Still, might be worth the effort for somebody looking for a Chevy-based kit. (Excuse me, ad says it’s NOT a kit car!)
edsnova 2014-10-14 21:13:29 That is a sweet looking car. And it appears to be a true Schwepps car, which would mean it was built at the BCW factory in PA, not in some knucklehead’s garage like mine.
The one error he makes is claiming the car is “identical” to the original “in all dimensions.” Actually the BCW is 3 inches longer than the MG was. The tub is a little wider but the windshield is a smidge narrower. The doors are about the same size but the shape is slightly different. Etc.HA! I like the seller’s attitude: “I will not ship to, nor accept any bids from people outside North America… That includes The Russian Federation, Nigeria, any country ending in ‘stan etc. etc….If you are unsure of the location of your country please avail yourself of Google Maps.”edsnova2014-10-14 21:19:47
