You will see all kinds of delusional deals if you look for them. I have a pair of cousins who, a couple years ago, convinced themselves (or were convinced by a would-be business partner) that the way to riches was buying early 1990s-vintage Camaros and exporting them to Puerto Rico where, they assured their father, these cars easily fetched double and triple the money they brought in the northeast.
Money was obtained and money was spent.
All is gone, of course.
Much of this conceit, and many other capers, schemes and grand plans of these two young entrepreneurs, was fueled by two mainsprings: drugs and the overpowering desire to not have to work for a living.
They are sad sacks but I have full confidence in them. If
these guys can get $1.5 million, then my shiftless cousins can get rich and the seller of this TDr can get his price.
AMERICA, my friends.
