While it was raining today and stuck inside, I prewired my fuse panel with relays as far as I could go. I need a few more two-to-one connectors which I’ll get tomorrow. Was going to crop the photo down to fit but can’t get it small enough. Maybe I’ll figure out a way and if I do I’ll post it. 😉 Here’s a link:

Where are you finding 2>1 spade connectors?KentT2015-02-22 18:34:26

I wish I had built a board like that when I built my Duchess.
I mounted the fuse box to the “firewall.” But my relays are simply wired into their respective circuits. When I bundled the wiring under the dash, the relays got tied up in those bundles. Luckily in the 33 years since I built her I have not had any electrical problems.

February 22, 2015 at 8:04 pm #263347Kent – I jusT went on eBay and typed dual space connectors and picked the ones I needed. Should have looked more because these; also on eBay are better. I think.

February 22, 2015 at 10:59 pm #263349Thanks for that Johnstone lead – I’ll try to locate some of those. I can find the piggybacks locally, but I prefer the others (which VW used) much more if space isn’t an issue. With piggybacks, it is difficult to unplug one wire without unplugging both….

Slowly coming back from the ashes...February 23, 2015 at 11:56 am #263350Wow that looks nice! I’m hoping to do something similar when I rewire the mess behind the dash.
As far as the 2-1 connectors I had picked up a box at Napa Auto and it had a mix of the piggyback and side by side. -
