Thanks to all for letting me into the club. I’m new to the community of kit cars and I have just purchased a MiGi. I’m enjoying the experience and am amazed at how much attention this little car draws. The previous owner was a hot rodder and didn’t understand VW’s,so I am fixing his mistakes. I am starting with the engine. It’s a 1600 dual port, and the first thing I am gonna do is bring it back to stock. I found a cracked push rod tube while replacing the cool tin so I’m waiting for parts. I would like to find the original thermostats and flap valves for the fan shroud so I can restore the original air path.
