I acquired a MG-TD (Fiberfab) last summer. Poor condition. It had been sitting outside in WA state for 15 plus years. Seized motor, brakes, brake lines missing (rusted out) no interior, tires rotted with large holes in them, etc., etc… Floor board had to be replaced which was last summer project plus new brakes, shocks, rebuild steering gear box, clean everything. Gelcoat beyond salvage. But the good side everything was there – almost. It is now repainted and i am starting to reassembly. Looks lie another unexpected problem is with the wiring. Looks like the wiring from generator to ammeter and return to voltage regulator may have overheated to will at least replace that. I’m still trying to make sense of the wiring. Will need new fuse box (s). I also need to rebuild the motor. New piston and cylinders, head work. I have already refurbished the case. At this stage I plan on just trying to get this single port 1600 running.
