I almost forgot…if you car is fiberglass kit, go to a local Marine Supply (West Marine) and get gelcoat “compound”. There are several levels of this and they are made by 3M. They do a great job on baots, and our fiberglass replicas ar finished the same way if they are gelcoat.
3M also makes a treatment and cleaner for the clear plastic in the top and side curtains. All of this stuff is at your local Marine Supply.
The headlights are different depending on whether they are “real” MGTD or the type some kit car comapnies used.
