This is a 52 MG-TD replica kit car by Fiberfab. This
kit was purchased in 1986 and they started assembling it and then put it
away in the barn it was pulled out of earlier this month for the first time. I
believe it is complete except I have not been able to find the wire
harness, if it even came with one. Some of the packaging has had some
rodents making homes, and of course the tape for the packaging is dried
and falling off.

There are some minor cracks, scrapes & scratches on the parts
that are assembled and loose. It is built on a 1968 Bug pan, which has
already had the modifications done to it and the gas tank for doing this
kit. It does look like all the lights are there, though there is some
rusting happening to the headlight assemblies. The windshield glass is
wrapped and seems to be intact, and the frame looks good. The seat
covers and boot cover and top are all still in their sealed bags. The
carpet kit has had a little bit of mouse life in it but it doesn’t look
like they hurt the carpet at all. Included are the sales brochure, the
parts & accessory book, and the installation manual. It also has the
certificate of origin for the vehicle along with the ID plate.

The VW motor is an H case. 3-4 side seems to be doing good but #2 exhaust is
stuck and #4’s exhaust push rod tube is crushed, which bent the rod so
it will require some work. The transmission is unknown. There is a
steering column but it has not been installed. Brakes were replaced from
master cylinder, to lines, to wheel cylinders, to the brakes
themselves.
