    @edsnova

    A few weeks after I bought Bridget I discovered the Brooklands aero screen, and decided that she had to have at least one.

    Only trouble was, Moss wants like $145 each for them, plus shipping.

    Cruised around ebay for a bit; the going price seems to be in the $120s. Plus shipping at $20 or so. Just seemed like too much.

    Then I got hip to the exchange rate. Dollars are fat these days vs. pounds sterling. Last week I found my way to Vintage Car Parts and hit their currency converter button. Ordered two screens, shipped from England, under $150.

    They came today and look sweet, just like the pictures.

    I know these things aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re in the market for one (or a pair) now might be a good time to get ’em.

    The site also has a nice selection of other stuff–electrical bits, lamps, chrome pieces, etc.

    Fun site to cruise. Cool stuff. Never thought about currency exchange savings. Great source for those unique parts. Thanks Ed
