    Way back in the early eighties, when I was just dipping my toe in the kit car waters, the Brubaker Box was actually on my short list of cars to build. Thank goodness common sense and reason prevailed.

    That’s a pretty cool van. Thanks for sharing.

    I still have the plans for a Phoenix Van built on a VW bus chassis. The plans were ordered from a Popular Science magazine back in the 80s. They were in a manila envelope under the rear seat of the VW 76 Transporter I bought back in 89. I’m at work now but I’ll check to see if the plans are a Brubaker design. The two look very similar. Now, for me….back to work. Cry
