Brubaker Box Revisited

Way back in the early eighties, when I was just dipping my toe in the kit car waters, the Brubaker Box was actually on my short list of cars to build. Thank goodness common sense and reason prevailed.

I still have the plans for a Phoenix Van built on a VW bus chassis. The plans were ordered from a Popular Science magazine back in the 80s. They were in a manila envelope under the rear seat of the VW 76 Transporter I bought back in 89. I’m at work now but I’ll check to see if the plans are a Brubaker design. The two look very similar. Now, for me….back to work.
