    @edsnova

    So ripped a bunch of shots of everyone’s gallery and without any permission threw them on calendar pages at a site called Big Huge Labs. I downloaded the shots (that’s free) but did not commit to buying a calendar from them for $20. Not sure if the design would stay there if I did.

    So before going any further thought I’d ask if

    a. anyone has any problem with my expropriation of their photos, and,

    b. if anyone would be interested in my doing this fer real. which, if so, I’d figure out how to make the calendar photos stick somewhere so’s you-all could order the finished calendars.

    Also, these things work best with bigger photos than we can post here on tdreplica.com. I went by file size mostly in choosing these. Here are samples of what I did, sized to fit our limits:

    Looks great Ed.

    But I should I be insulted my Duchess didn’t measure up?

    I may never recover from this!

    Sorry, Paul. Best pic of the Duchess I found was like 173kbs. I tried to keep these shots above 300.

    The speedster folks insist on only high-res–like 2-3mb and above. Maybe next year?

    Meantime, if I don’t hear any objections by tomorrow I’m gonna go ahead and try to set up a buyable calendar on line. The price will be the website’s alone–no profit for me.

    OK, everyone, Paul has sent me some sweet, big format shots of his car. I’m going to re-do a couple months because, when I put the first round shots into the calendar on line, I got a message on some of them that the photos were too low-resolution to print at that size. The message came on the May shot (Paul took that one, I’m in it), the September one (I love that dog, would really dig a higher res one of it) and the October photo, which I would also really like to use, if a larger one can be found.

    The plan now is to redo a few months and post here, then open it up for sale, later this week.

    If anyone has any high-res shots they’d like me to consider–and I especially like “action” shots, pics with people and photos with multiple TDs–send them along. you can email me at stuntmidget-AT-hotmail-dot-com if you’d like.

    Update on calendar. The May, September and November shots are as follows. The rest is the same, plus there’s a cover shot. I ordered one & and working out a way to make it easy for anyone to grab one via the web & pay pal or a credit card. The site I’m using wants $25 to print and ship these. I’d like it cheaper and will look about for a cheaper solution for next year if folks want to do this again.

    Got mine ordered today, I think. Site was a little confusing to me, but don’t think it’s the sites fault. The calendar looks great. Just not a computer wizard.

    Thanks, gentlemen–remember tough, they’re your pictures. I didn’t take a one of ’em. Next year, though, I’ll be shooting for it.

    Is it still possible to order the 2011 Calendar?  I got confused at the link.  I didn’t see where to order an existing calendar.
