October 20, 2010 at 2:20 pm #242568Junkman, Another member recently bought a nice ,complete ,running TD replica for $3500. I have not seen one sell for over $5000.in quite a while. Still another member got a new ,never assembled kit still in the boxes for less than $500. So the prices are all over the place.
From your previous posts and pictures it appears that your car needs a rebuild.I’m not being critical but the amount of work and material it would take to finish it would mean that the current value would be rather low. Someone once said that the value of anything is what a willing buyer would pay and what a willing seller would take on the day of the sale. Hope you can keep this one and bring it back to it’s previous glory.
October 20, 2010 at 3:02 pm #242569There is a guy in FL who is selling his kit on the Samba for 850 OBO. But his has been sitting outside for a couple of years and will need to be restored. Just letting you know of one price. His car is white like yours and does NOT have a top.
