Slowly coming back from the ashes...Up for auction for 8 minutes total. Wow! “Faster than a speeding bullet.” Somebody, with their finger on the hair trigger got a great deal.
Wish I could figure out how to get the new owner an invite to the forum.I’d like to know what’s holding those hubcaps on.

My “look” is painted VW steel wheels, chrome VW nippled hubcaps with emblems (either VW Wolfsburg crest or MG center caps glued on), and stainless steel deep (not thin) wheel rings. Still TBD is the color of the painted wheels, whether black, silver, or red body color.With the Wolfburg crest (which has a touch of red) or the black/chrome MG center cap, I think it would really dress up this look on a red car. The red wheels really makes the chrome “pop”, IMO:

Slowly coming back from the ashes...I have a set of 5 of those but can’t use them on my smoothie hubcaps. The smoothies are too rounded to support them. I ordered the 1-7/8 inch medallions from MG Magic instead. If anyone needs a set like these PM me with your address and I’ll send them to you.
