Hi all. Need help in finding the center section for the rear deck on a Daytona Migi or maybe someone has a picture they would post so I would know what I am looking for.  I am trying to resurect this car after the engine caught fire and I have never seen this piece.  Thanks

Hi Ron . Try MG Magic . See  the Links Page for contact info.  Look in the photo gallery at RedHill’s car, also in my gallery to see what they look like.If your car has a separate pan between the bumper and the fenders ,look in the PMossberg gallery as that is probably more like what you need. Hope this helps.

Ron,At the top of this page, click on the photo gallery logo. This will bring up a list of names . Scroll down to the name you are looking for and click on it. You will soon get the hang of it. Also some MiGi cars have the [ spare tire ] molded into the engine cover .If your car is one of those, the cover would be different but would still have the same general shape.

Larry, thanks for your help. Iwent thru the complete photo gallery and Fareoh is the only one I saw like mine but could not see the back of it.  Maybe I’ll find a picture somewhere.  Thanks

Ron, I think Fareoh ‘s car has the same body as my car. The engine covers are the same basic shape for most of the kits. The design and measurements vary somewhat to allow for engine clearance etc. I think the Duchess ,like PMossburg’s, are the only ones that hinge at the bottom near the bumper. Most hinge from the top and mount to the rear of the body.If you cannot find one, make one out of card board for a pattern and to check for fit ,then see a sheet metal shop about making it for you. Mine has a hole cut out the approximate diameter of the spare wheel to allow for generator and air cleaner clearance. Good luck, maybe one will turn up,that would be the best way to go.

Larry-  The body and rear fenders are molded together on mine and the deck lid comes straight down about 7 inches or so then angles toward the back .  I have the lid but it does not have a center section in the deck lid for spare tire or whatevever and not really sure what to do with it.  May have to try your idea.  Thanks again
