    @edsnova

    Found some chrome-look flexible fender welt to dress up my dashboard.

    Mine had none of the silver stuff or windlace that’s supposed to be there.

    Loosened the screws, notched the stuff and slid it in. Like buttuh.

    Did the center piece too. Not sure if it looks good enough.

    good enough for now though!

    Where did you get that awesome steering wheel?

    SoCal

    look under “columns and steering components”

    Beware, though. If they say they have a 15.5-inch wheel it just might be a lie. The wheel is a full 17 inches in diameter (like the original Brooklands), and that makes for a tight squeeze into the driver’s seat.

    I plan to raise my column up an inch or so when I re-do the dash.

    Would those side mirrors fit my fiberfab windshield frame? If so where should I get them?

    Lot’s of Fiberfab owners here might know about that. My mirrors are some kind of clamp-on dealies & are actually clamped to a piece of aluminum plate that the P.O. wedged between the windhield frame and the pivot on the lower frame. I’m thinking about taking that out & replacing them with motorcycle mirrors that bolt through the fold-down slot.

    I think a lot of these mirrors are available through J.C. Whitney, but you should definitely go with advice from people who know better.
