Beware, though. If they say they have a 15.5-inch wheel it just might be a lie. The wheel is a full 17 inches in diameter (like the original Brooklands), and that makes for a tight squeeze into the driver’s seat.
I plan to raise my column up an inch or so when I re-do the dash.
Lot’s of Fiberfab owners here might know about that. My mirrors are some kind of clamp-on dealies & are actually clamped to a piece of aluminum plate that the P.O. wedged between the windhield frame and the pivot on the lower frame. I’m thinking about taking that out & replacing them with motorcycle mirrors that bolt through the fold-down slot.
I think a lot of these mirrors are available through J.C. Whitney, but you should definitely go with advice from people who know better.
