For all that may have been wondering where Iv’e been,I’m still around.Just no ambition, waiting for title for my MG.Well finally after 14 months of waiting the state of wisconsin issued my vin tag on the 23rd of this month. My plates and titled should soon follow. The bigest problem with the whole proccess was the state researcher dragging his feet, and being transferd and not informing anyone about the paperwork for my car, which I sent in a second time in april of this year. The newly asigned researcher was very freindly and quick to proccess everthing, only a week and a half after talking with her on the phone. It has been a long fustraiting wait, but it’s finally all legal, and looking forward to a nice long drive over labor day weekend.

If these words were ever appropriate, they are now, “IT’S ABOUT TIME!”

August 25, 2011 at 3:50 pm #246018Should be a few good days left in september to get out.Should also have what’s called an indian summer where it gets warm at the end of sept.,early oct..But at this point I would get out in the cold if I had to,as I’m one of them crazy ice fishermen so not bothered too much by the cold.
Just very happy someone at the state knew what they were doing.

Like I said I am just very happy things have finally gone through with this car.
I had other options (including an original MG TD title)but wanted to go about it the right and legal way.
August 25, 2011 at 7:32 pm #246021Glad that’s settled, Buzz. A year is way to f’in long for that. Jeez.
August 26, 2011 at 1:11 pm #246022We vacationed (camped) in Door County Wisc in early June one year. It was cold! A shopkeeper told us that we came up too early for summer. We asked when summer was, at which point he asked his wife “honey, summer was on a Thursday last year wasn’t it?”. Beautiful country, we have gone several times. Usually in July or August
August 26, 2011 at 3:25 pm #246023I’ll take that original TD title off your hands.
