    Want to buy custom floor mats for my Daytona MiGi. Do I specify MG TD or VW Beetle for the manufacturer to size the mats.

    The safest answer is:  Neither.  Any off the shelf mat will be a compromise fit. 

    You might want to contact “Coco Mats” 800 461 3533 or cocomats.com.  They will ask you to make a tracing of what you want.

    Coco Mats are highly regarded. 

    For a nod to (fake) authenticity I installed a genuine Moss reproduction driver’s side footwell matt in Bridget. (see item 5).

    I bought a pair of CoCo Mats.  They arrived last week.  I am very happy with quality and fit. $198.60 delivered.

    My son was impressed enough that he is ordering a set for his Jeep.
