Headlight Mounting?

I have the headlight mount brackets installed on my Fiberfab and the part of the bracket that mounts the headlight has me pondering. Are the brackets “side specific”? I ask because the headlight buckets appear to be closer to the grille than centered between the fender and grille. I tried both ways and it doesn’t seem to make any difference.

hope so couple of months behind Allen. And having same issues, can’t visualize the fiberglass chrome grill coming together. Words and visuals in manual useful but well lit photo would help

On my FF the headlight brackets are different. One side curves up further than the other (similar to half of a teardrop shape)

Spike. Thanks for the photos. That’s how mine look. Slightly off center between the fender and grille with the headlight post just inside the fender line..

Interesting… Everything looks the same as mine except the bracket itself. Even down to the mounting hardware.

You may have a bracket from a real TD which is tubular and hollow.

Nope, it is almost exactly like that one. The only difference is the shape, half teardrop vs a crescent. I’ll try and get some pictures up tomorrow.
