    @washington-will

    I met “Octagon” (Alan) Today. I attended a meeting at work near his home and he invited me over to check out the Grand Duchess. It is SWEET! Really gets me psyched about what my Migi will look like when I get finished going through her. Alan’s Duchess is a chevette kit and also gave me some idea what my chevette kit will look like when its done. His upholstery,paint interior dash and engine compartment are immaculate He has really gone through this car and it is impressive. Thanks Alan for showing me around. Now that I know there are three of us in close proximity it will be great this spring to get together at a local show or just do the cascade mountain highway loop as a group. I really appreciate this forum for all the help you all have given me and the opportunity to meet so many people with the same love for the cars.
    Thanks for listening,
    Will

    Hey Will, Where is Allen at in Washington? We seem to have a quorum now!

    I did hear from a TD owner on Salt Spring Island up in the Gulf Islands

    (Canadian San Juan Islands). Are you still out there? I had thought the

    Cascade loop would be a lovely trip as well. I made trip to Victoria Island

    with my 86 year old mother this summer and she was the one who

    commented how fun it would have been in the TD. I could not get her out of

    the car this summer ! There just happened to be a big car show there in

    August as well.

    My poor TD is still “as is” for the most part but so much fun to ride in that I

    intend to do just that until I retire in 3 years. That work stuff really gets in

    the way of doing the things I would like to do! Let me know if you make any

    plans.    Chuck
