Hi all,
I have a current parts/price list for MG Magic in PDF form if anyone is interested. I sent it to the webmaster about a month ago to post for everyone but still have not seen it on the site.
If you want a copy just send me a private message with your e-mail address and I’ll gladly send you a copy!

I’m note sure if you meant me or Paul Mossberg (or both) by “webmaster”, but due to the nature of that list I would not post it on the this site.
I agree it’s great to have and we surely apppreciate that you got the list and are willing to make it availbale to everyone, but this is not the proper forum to post waht amounts to a commerical vendor catalog. If people want that list, they can contact you or MG Magic directly to obtain a copy.
Also, jsut to set records straight, even though he unfortunatley had to sell his TD Replica, FrankieD, the website founder is still the official webmaster.
February 9, 2009 at 5:14 pm #238205I think I sent it to FrankieD but I realize he doesn’t really run the site anymore.
Sorry for the confusion!
And sorry if this is not the proper venue to post the catalog, I just thought people might like to see what parts/current prices are available.
I hope I didn’t rub anyone the wrong way by my last post, It wasn’t my intention, just trying to contribute to the group.

February 9, 2009 at 10:12 pm #238206Hi Geoff,
Frank is still the admin. I believe he sold his MG, but is still pretty active in VW circles. PinkMG and I can do some stuff. But the real admin authority rests with Frank. He manages the site, makes all the updates and works with the hoster.
PinkMG is just being his usually hard— self (just kidding Mark!). Ultimately, it’s up to Frank whether or not to post MG Magic’s catalog. But frankly (no pun intended), in this day and age, you would think MG Magic could do that themselves!
They are about the only game in town for spare parts. But it still seems a bit odd for us to publish their catlog for them.
We’ll see what the wise sage FrankieD says!

February 10, 2009 at 10:50 am #238207I apologize if I hurt feelings. Believe me, we appreciate that Geoff got the data that he did. Geoff is a valued member of the TD Replica site.
My reply was based on previous experience with vendors and other “private” forums. We all share our knowledge to include the vendors we have experiences with, but we should not play favorites and post their “catalogs” here on the site.
I think posting “Links” are fine. Most of the vendors have their own sites. As I stated privately to Paul Mossberg, it’s about time MG Magic joined the 21st Century and at least established an e-mail address, let alone their own website.
FrankieD has been cleaning up bogus users (vendors) on this site for a while now.
Paul is correct, that FrankieD has the last say in posting the MG Magic price list.
I didn’t mean to ruffle any feathers
February 10, 2009 at 1:08 pm #238208HAhaha! It’s no big deal And yeah MG Magic should join the 21st century. I think Brad is an old school guy and going modern might be too much for him.
It dosen’t bother me either way if the info gets posted, after all this is a forum for enthusiasts, not a swap meet! I just get excited when I find neat MG related stuff to share.
Bottom line, If anyone wants the info I am happy to send them a copy. Thanks to everyone for their posts!
Happy MG-ing!
