    i recently became owner of MG-TD REPLICA fm2191. i want to know how to find out what yr it is and what size vw engine it has

    At the base of the generator/alternator stand there will be the block number.Then if you want the year of the frame,that number will be between the seats,you will see a cover plate,the frame number should be just in front of that.

    Then look up the number in the VW Tech articles link
