    @bcotton

    I am wondering if anyone knows of a TD replica manufacturer (still in business) that makes a complete, original looking, windshield assembly (frame , posts and mounting brackets) ?

    Here’s a link to an original TD windscreen frame.

    Thank you….I will check this out . I am hoping to make my Fiber Fab TD look more like an original MG.

    We’ve been through this before in another thread. If I can find it, I’ll post the full link.

    Meanwhile….

    It is VERY likely an original frame will NOT fit.

    Width may be an issue.

    And even if it is not, most TD cowls are molded with flat extensions at either side where the frame sits. To fit an original frame, you will have to grind those off and patch & paint the fiberglass.

    If you own a TDr and are not in the Registry, please go to https://tdreplica.com/forums/topic/mg-td-replica-registry/ and register (you need to copy and paste the link)

    You are absolutely right….fitting an original windshield frame may/would require some body modifications, but I am prepared to do that. Thanks for your in-put.
