Does anyone have a tow bar sitting around that they thought they would use and it is just sitting there collecting dust or rust?
I know MG Magic sells one for only $109 and that will most likely be the route I go. But I thought I might help a guy out and I might pick one up a bit cheaper.
Looking for a “win/win” !!!

July 11, 2013 at 9:56 am #256999You may want to check Craig’s list. The challenge is the shipping cost will run about $25 or so…

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackAugust 28, 2013 at 7:41 am #257001I ended up inquiring to the local AutoZone if there were any aircooled guys around and they gave me the name and phone number of a guy who had one laying around in the weeds. Who gladly parted with it for $50 and he threw in an oil change gasket/washer kit!!!

I already have one but if I was close to NJ I would jump on it.Hope you are doing well Bill. How many of the TD Replica badges do you have left at this point?Everyone without one to this point needs to contract Bill and get one before they are gone.October 23, 2015 at 9:46 am #257005Just a word of advice about tow bars.
I purchased one only to discover my front axle has grease fittings in the EXACT spots where the towbar would fit.
I had to return it.
No problem with that, but had to go to UPS, it cost $31 shipping and still waiting for my refund check.
I’ll have to rent a car dolly if I need to transport my car.I agree about the badges. I got one about a month ago. Very nice. Good addition to my car.
Put it on just in time for my first show, last weekend.Amor Conquista Todo
October 23, 2015 at 9:49 am #257006Had same problem with grease fittings, just remove when installing tow bar, replace when tow bar removed.

September 11, 2020 at 8:08 am #307227I’m guessing those badges are gone if not how much anyone with pic of one?
September 19, 2020 at 5:32 pm #307260Bill Collins (the member who had the grill badges made) passed away several years ago. We have no contact with any family members, hence no idea if the remaining badges still exist somewhere.
They are 4.5 inches across, have the usual two screws on the reverse. This is what they look like.
