Migi – Rear bumper & Engine cover latch

Would anyone know if &/or where we might find the rear bumper & engine cover latch for a Migi (VW) we have?  This is the info I have on it:

Migi by Daytona (there is a pic on this sight of the exact model)

 MG MAGIC, [see contact info on the links page] would be a good source for both the bumper and the latches.. Moss Motors also has the bumper and I think you could use latches from a Jeep as well.

Thanks!!  I’ll start there and see what I can find.  I’m taking over the office work for my husband and have to get my bearings on where to go for different vehicle parts.  This MiGi is definitely one of the more unique ones we’ve got here.

I believe MG magic had all the bumper parts you mentioned, I spoke with Brad about them only a week or so ago and he said he had them all in stock. The Daytona Migi is a bit different from some of the other models, but also has many similarities. I am far from an expert but I do own a Daytona Migi (VW) and a CMC chevette kit and will be happy to tell you as much as I do know. My son and I have spent a good part of the last year fixing the bad construction done by the previous owner of my Daytona and know it pretty well. We have taken it from a basket case to a daily driver. You also definely made the right move joining the club there is a wealth of knowledge here and a lot of TD lovers!
