re-manufactured Carb

Got the 2 barrel carter carb on my 2.3L engine rebuilt by guaranteed Carbs in Largo Fl.  The result is the best performance I’ve ever had.  Only regret is I took so long to do it.

I was dissapointed with the performance of my Ford powered car.  Thought about changing engines or at least having the carb rebuilt.  Took the floormat out from under the gas pedal………seemed like 30 more HP.  Then I put a spacer behind the the throttle cable and picked up a little more.  The throttle wasn’t being allowed to fully open  No money, very little time and the spacer that I used was even used.

That is a great lesson! Especially on a home-brewed vehicle, check stuff like linkage and cable adjustments first!
