The ad says VW powered, but then says no engine in car, so at $1600.00 you have your work cut out for you on this one.

    MG-TD Replica – VW Powered

Here is a Fiberfab replica of a 1952 MG-TD, based on a VW pan and using the VW
engine. This is a new kit although it has been sitting around for many moons. All the
accessories that came with the kit are still there. We have just taken a look at the
accessories and find that it appears to have the convertible top with zippered style side
windows. It also has the carpet kit, dash, assembly books and all the guages. There is
also 2 boxes of parts for an engine. It has a VW transaxle, but the new owner will have
to supply the engine of his choice. $1600 or a close proximity. Email will(at)bidslo.com :
substitute @ for (at). Smaller items can be shown at the SLO Sunset Drivein Swapmeet
on Sundays. To check out larger items, a trip out to the hills in Santa Margarita has to
    be arranged.

Yeah, I think if someone gave me a close proximity to $1,600 I’d haul that mess out of the weeds for ’em.

Later FiberFab Migi II.  If that pan is solid, I’d personally prefer finishing this one than trying to repair the other one that had been rear-ended, for the same price.  More to do, but less to “re-do”….

But, still too much $$.  That’s what I paid for my complete early FF that had been sitting in a barn for 10+ years.  Any of these that hasn’t been completed, driven and maintained, will require SOME amount of rework/repair, most likely brakes and fuel system issues, in addition to tires.
