    Slowly but surely the abandoned chevette kit is coming together. Frame is sandblasted and sealed, suspension refitted, steering and brakes redone. It was a rusty mess for 20 years but looking better now.Engine has been rebuilt and trans resealed. Have done everything I could find parts for locally but now the task of gathering the loose ends. Must locate hand brake parts somewhere–all of ’em. Fiberglass fitting is coming up soon. It has been fun and it looks like more, much more ,to come.

    Thanks. Its great to know there are supportive folks out there. Its a long haul to get to the finish line. Don’t want this to become a DNF like its first life.
